That response is all you can hope for as an Ole Miss fan, seems like he’s staying for sure!

Really wish he would have made a pine box comment

Other than Deion he is the coach that excites me the most out of names being rumored. It isn't my money but he would be my first choice only because I feel it's a horrible time for Aubur. To take any risk with hiring Deion

After that performance I can see why auburn is so desperate to hire him. Wow. What an impressive coach

I expected the team to be flat. It’s not all his fault

Players aren’t stupid. All they are hearing all week is their coach is leaving in a week. I expected them to lay an egg

Meh. A good coach gets his kids ready.

Kiffin is an average coach who runs a cute little offense but it seems to be ineffective against good defenses

Offenses struggle more against good defenses? Dang. That's deep.

In a game where they struggled and turned the ball over 3 times last last night, I believe they still got 700+ yards of offense. If he gets even a decent DC, he will be hard to beat by anyone.

Yes, smart people definitely make decisions based off of one game.

There are no examples of that strategy resulting in failure.

He's gone, Daddy, gone. He seems to have checked out of Ole Miss when he checked in to his Fayetteville hotel.

Only Auburn would be excited about a coach that losses 4 of his last 5 games.

I am curious as to why Dion excites you?

How about based off his entire career of winning nothing ?

You sound really intelligent

Recruits way outside of his teams league.

Obviously knows football.

Has connections like no other college coach.

I am not sure how well he would do against SEC competition, can he win with equalish talent vs other SEC teams? Nobody knows but you could do much worse trying to find out.

Kinda like Brian Kelly had ND prepared when bama raced out to a 35-0 lead in the NC game?

A good coach like that?

Don't forget the 2 first half TDs called back on holding penalties. That is a whole different game without the loss of 14 points early on.

I think he would recruit really well and could have an immediate impact. Kids were going in record saying they would flip if he came. I imagine many more were thinking it. I think he could load our roster with 4 and 5 stars faster than the other coaches.
