He’s a better coach than Raymond. Raymond was a great recruiter. What did that give us? Big names who underperformed, got hurt, or quit

I think the overreacting to Kelly letting Raymond go is comical and reflective of a loser mentality
I’m not gonna melt over any hires that an elite coach like Kelly makes. He’s proven himself. That’s good enough for me.

Those people were dumb. It was obvious he was going to be an onfield coach. You don't announce analysts like that.
However, you saying this is a worthless hire is even dumber. He has worked closely with Kelly more than once. He's been a DC. I'm sure he can coach a single fricking position.
He's also a very good recruiter with a good track record.

We still don’t even know what the extent of his role is going to be. Is he the S coach? CBs? DBs total?
What if the DC is a very good DB coach? If Cooks is a decent recruiter, do the same posters continue melting?

Real LSU fans won’t just worship the hire. They will actually be critical when it’s needed. This has been an absolute disaster so far. I was a huge fan of the Kelly hire. But from what I’ve seen it’s been extremely disappointing. LSU looks like they will actually take a step back from last season. Kelly still can somewhat salvage things though.
I loved the Frank Wilson hire. But that’s about as far as I’ll go.
