I think he is staying. I just meant because he is so much younger than Saban.

I just heard from a friend of mine who is way way wealthier than I am and is plugged in at UT big wigs. I have been told Saban to Texas is a done deal and the contract is very very very large. I cannot say specific $ and years he was told. I said yesterday I thought there was no way this was happening but this guy never gives away info that is not accurate.

If it's a Crimson contract, even more interesting that he hasn't signed it yet..

Not really.

If there is truly a contract on his desk, that means they've negotiated the amount already.

No, not really. The terms in the contract are what he is being offered. You don't have to negotiate a contract to be offered one, or an extension for that matter.

Bama may simply put a extended contract offer to him with a raise and more guaranteed money, and ask him to decide if its what he wants.

That said, it doesn't mean Saban is gone in anyway. He may just be waiting this whole situation out to squeeze as much out of Bama as possible as this type of situation (a school like UT with an opening) isn't going to happen for at least another 4-5 years.

Without you and the 3 or 4 other Bama posters, these threads would be much less entertaining.

Y'all are really the only reason for LSU fans to follow these threads.

Why do people constantly come up with these obviously false "inside" stories? How bored do you have to be?

I think you are correct...

Bigger meltdown on this board...Landon Collins to Bama or Saban back to Bama?

Any Bama students on here? Guy just called in to WNSP show and said the students received an alert in their Crimson Mail that Saban has signed.

See if any students got it?

What's it matter if it's on his desk? You can have the same contract sent to your iPhone or iPad, and you can sign the bitch that way. If there was/is a contract and Saban wanted to sign it, it wouldn't matter if he was in Ghana, China, or TuscaLoser in his office.
