That's interesting IF true. I'll believe it when I see it. I just don't see any way you can sell House to the people that are writing your big NIL checks.

I don’t think Culotta has inside info but honestly I would be ok with this as long as both DB coaches are replaced and a better Dline coach is hired

Feel like Jordy is stirring the pot here. I trust Kelly to make the evaluation and we will know soon.

Maybe they know that they will have no offense when the 3 guys leaves so why bother with a defense.

Everyone calm down.
Let a DL and DB coach come on and recruit/develop/coach these guys.

Ummm... our LBers were completely awful this year too including a Pac12 DPOY last year that looked like the worst player in college football at times.

That is House's specialty and they were downright awful, so please stop with the "changing the DB and DL coaches will somehow make him not an awful playcaller and schemer.

What he did with Perkins is his biggest sin

You realize that Perkins had strikingly similar stats between last year (14 games) and this year (12 games so far)?

House isn’t going anywhere. Anyone with a brain can remember the strides that our less than average defense made last year.

Injuries and rare illnesses depleted this years defense… replace/get a stud recruiter and let’s ride.

Yep but you can’t just look at stats

His impact on the game was minimized. If you say otherwise you’re lying to yourself

House didn’t use Perkins to the best of his ability. That’s a fireable offense in itself

I’m a full on BK benefit of the doubt supporter.

But he simply cannot keep House for a variety of reasons. This would be a big hit on him for me.

No way.

Kelly is an idiot if this turns out to be true.

I also doubt he has any legit source in the building anymore

If he does, it wouldn't surprise me if they are feeding him bullshite info because they know he'll run with whatever he's told.

Doesn't House have a $5 mil buyout? It's really not hard for me to believe that this will save his job.

I have to imagine it's hard to convince people to pay a third of what you paid to get rid of the previous head coach to get rid of a coordinator even as bad as he was this year.

Coming in to the season, House himself said his focus was forcing more turnovers and getting off of the field on third down.

Results?
Turnovers - 101 in the country
3rd down conversion rate - 116 in the country

Fired
