Every outgoing coach is going to do it the debate was with the morons who thought Ole Miss should allow him to do it from the HC's office. But if these rumors were true LSU would have fired Frank immediately and alerted every program in the country to what he had done. You just can't do it while continuing to draw a paycheck.

O and Wilson have zero positional/coaching overlap. One being on staff has no harm to the other. While the Wilson theory/rumor may be dumb or unfounded, this one is probably more dumb.

My assumption is that both Frank and O will be on staff. I feel like they won’t hire O back officially until after his last buyout payment on 12/15. Hopefully they move Frank to recruiting/run game coordinator or something and keep his salary the same

Frank Wilson is not coming back. How the Louisiana kids were booted out of the class in the final hour did not sit well with him. He was actually tasked with calling every recruit that Lane Kiffin and new coaches/staff did not want to retain to inform them of the decision to move on. He declined that request because he did not agree to put things lightly. Corey Raymond unless something changes will also move on whether Lane wants him or not. Lots of drama in the early stages.

Both Wilson and Raymond have been around long enough to understand how this business works. If they're in their feelings about the transition go ahead. Lane said in his presser we're not going to take certain players just because they go to certain schools.
