Maybe it was true. Maybe it wasn’t, but we and the media have no idea. Of course they’re going to report on any drop of information. They got tons of people to click watch and listen.

That amount wouldn’t even spark interest nowadays so in a way it was pretty smart.

I don’t believe they were. I think they thought he was interested in the job (which was false) but the interest wasn’t enough for LSU to make the offer. I believe Verge Ausberry on thos.

My mistake. But it was the largest guaranteed contract if I’m not mistaken. He still wasn’t worth it at the time or now.

100% complete bullshite. Riley stated publicly that he was not going to be the LSU coach. Now, LSU was going to try again after the game Saturday, but no one was caught off guard.

The journalists are way behind what's really going on. Feldman tweeted USC was going to make a run at Riley and an hour later the hire was announced. Did you see his deal? That shite didn't come together in an hour.
If there's really any substance to the Kelly deal, they've been working on it for weeks.
