quote:

Joe Brady, who was fired last Sunday as the Carolina Panthers' offensive coordinator, already has heard from multiple NFL teams, a source told ESPN.

Brady prefers to continue coaching in the NFL, and the expectation is that he will stay in the league next season, according to sources.

Brady could return to coaching in college, where he helped launch his career as the passing game coordinator at LSU during the Tigers' 2019 national championship season.

But one source told ESPN that although it's "not impossible, it is improbable" that Brady heads back to the college ranks in 2022.

Just under a year ago, Brady was landing interviews for head coaching jobs with the Jets, Eagles and Falcons -- where he was a finalist before Atlanta ultimately hired Arthur Smith.

Didn't really think he'd make it back to college but damn sure knew it wouldn't be LSU.

NFL GM: Joe, we did receive your earlier call and are not interested in your services at this time.

Technically that counts as hearing from a team. Brady’s agent is putting in the work.

I’ve been saying this from the start. He doesn’t want to come back to college. Is career isn’t dead yet. Plenty of people in the NFL have a rough go at their first attempt. The Cleveland Browns fired Bill Belichick. Did he run back to college football? No, he kept at it and eventually someone gives you another shot.

Joe Brady will likely be a receivers coach in the NFL next season. After a few more years of building up more good will, he will get another shot at an OC spot. I can easily see someone looking at the personnel he had in Carolina and deciding that Joe Brady could be good in the right spot.

Fixed that part of the quote for you. And there's no way to know if that's really true, either.

LSU is As close to the NFL as you can get and you don’t have to worry about prima donna players making more than you that think they don’t have to listen

If he ever comes back to college, it would be for a specific talent and situation

Doesn't like 'crootin. Never did.

Nothing wrong with that. It's just not his personality or forte. Some people just prefer the League over colloge.

Sounds like he is trying to drum up interest or drum up price.

Brady got way too much credit dit 2019, but was the main reason that LSU shifted its approach on offense. He wasn’t running the offense, but was developing those skills.

At Carolina, he was screwed by coaching under a first year NFL head coach that is defense focused and did jacks hit to get any offensive talent there his first year with a full defensive draft.

Add in the injuries for McCaffery and others and the black hole at QB, and you get the crap result that Brady produced.

Nfl teams are aware of that. You aren’t going to make filet mignon with ground beef.

Guy had like 5 nfl head coaching interviews last year. I’m sure he will at least get an O Co, WR Coach, QB Coach level job in the NFL. The Bengals would probably love him on their staff. I really doubt the NFL is holding the performance of Sam Darnold, washed Cam Newton, and PJ Walker against him. He was also missing CMAC for huge chunks of both seasons.

Brady is going to get a nice nfl job this year and he will be back in the running for NFL HC gigs in a minimum of 2 years.

Dude’s coordinator ability is weak sauce in the NFL. You can’t get by with basic motions and routes, and not making any adjustments in the pros. You can’t really do that in college either. Their guys are just as fast and athletic as your guys…when he understands that he will grow as a coordinator. People need to stop acting like he is some prodigy.

In other news: Water is wet

I mean is this anymore obvious to anyone but the CCB who begs for him back? Dude doesn't want anything to do with college ball.
