Families and career oriented people do not attend NFL games like they did in the past - unless they purchase very expensive seating. The NFL is on life support and I hope to see the plug pulled in the near future.

Too bad he played for Florida but he's a good man.

I commend him for giving it his best. He isn’t a cut out for the NFL but this experience will not go to waste.

Using his finger to read the Bible? Why isn’t his wife with the hyphenated name in the pic? Does anyone still believe that sham marriage was for real? I don’t but then again I’m the sharpest tool in the shed.

Worst post I’ve seen all year. Take some deep breaths. Let the man live his life. You will never agree with anything he does, so just shut up about it.

A first class response by Tebow to his dismissal from the team. He tried and gave 100% to the effort (and he wasn't afraid of failure). He also took a lot of flak from media members.

Kinda wanted to see him suit up at least once more to be in the superdome next. But I get it. Best regards there Tim. God bless.

Tebow is a first class dude. Not a pro football player though.

Who knows what pro sport he is going to try next? Has he been texting Tiger and MJ?

They got their jersey sales out of him. Time to cut bait.

Just in time for him to go back to his cushy job for SEC Network for football season.

And that’s not a knock on Tebow. I say if you had the chance to play again pursue your dreams. He’s a lucky guy to be able to try 2 pro sports as well as have a great paying on air job. Hard to say much bad about him.

It was a long shot for a 34 year old who had never played the position. Wish him the best of luck.

I won’t lie, I hated him as a player at Florida when they played the Tigers, but that was bc he was beating them. Aside from that he seems like a good dude. He’s proof you can attend Florida and not be a criminal. Def someone for kids to look after bc he seemed to practice what he’d preach.

I'll never forget the first time he did that jump pass against us. Hated him ever since lol

I tried to hate him also - but then I met a couple at the motel we stayed before the big game in 2007 - they knew Tebow well - told us about his background, his charitable work, his devotion to God, his work ethic. I still cheered for us to beat him, but I could never again apply "hate" (even in the non-serious sports rival sense) to him. Respect the hell out of him, and have never had occasion to change that since.
