.4 - So, he made an A in PE, and Fs in everything else.

So...

A = 4.0
B = 3.0
C = 2.0
D = 1.0

Have I got that right? Shouldn't he still be in HS?

Maybe his school graded on the English scale where 1.0 = A and 5.0 = F.

On second thought, probably not.

Now that they get paid, I dont see the point to playing the game of they have to go to class. Unless they want to go to class and get a degree for the ones that know they wont make it in the NFL and want a career other than football.

When was the last time you heard of someone being academically disqualified or suspended? Seems like it doesn’t happen anymore

I know one particular douche bag who went to OSU and he will tell you that OSU and the Big10 conference is above all others in every way. This kind of blows that out of the water.

OSU fans are a different breed of dbags no doubt. UNCs academic "rigor" also has no standing

A True scholar who tapped waited until
college to really tap into his potential? Real question is how do you graduate high school with a .4 GPA and be eligible? Those B10 Academics

Our country is such a mess with this crap going on. He should have at minimum been in an alternative school and not allowed to play football...

I'm really proud of the kid. Most people can't just develop good study habits once they get to college. Good on you, student afleet!

Don't you need like a 2.6 GPA to even be eligible for D-1 sports?
user avatar

To play as a freshman, they need a 2.3 in 16 core credits. Between 2 and 2.3 to qualify for a scholarship as an "academic redshirt". With NIL, does a scholarship really matter anymore?

Probably general studies, lol.

Maybe after his freshman year or something. You literally can't graduate HS or be eligible for NCAA DI sports with that GPA.

I'm sure that 3.7 at Ohio State was also earned and no foul play was involved.

The fact that he’s stupid enough to admit this says it all
