Paul Finebaum Reveals His Names For College Football’s Most 'Overrated' Coach
© Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN college football analyst Paul Finebaum revealed his pick for college football’s most overrated coach on Monday morning and it's none other than...wait for it...you guessed it...Michigan's Jim Harbaugh. Per 247Sports’ Finebaum interview...
quote:

“There’s no getting around it. For what he makes, for that program, he wins the crown. I’ve believed in them a couple of times. Maybe they’ll win at home. And I’m not a hater. I just have been abused by Jim Harbaugh in believing too often that he could get it done. He can’t get it done,”
Do you agree?

Running a close second is Jimbo Fisher at Texas A&M. As so far, the aggies have not got their money's worth yet.

Agreed. Also, at some point Tom Herman at Texas needs to deliver. Mediocre results so far.

While True, Jimbo is still one of the 5 active college head coaches to have won a Natty. It's also not exactly easy to do when 2 of the other 5 coaches to have won a natty are in your division. Playing Clemson close twice and finally beating LSU, all while you've got Mond as your QB, you can see that A&M has potential. Maybe give ole Jimbo another year or two before we write him off.

Very well said William! I’ve given up on espn, nfl network, and tennis channel talking about sports. I’m hoping they will all stfu about the bs and do their jobs and talk about sports but I guess they don’t care what I give af about. If I want the bs shoved down my throat I’ll turn to cnn.

When I made that comment I didn’t mean the players of sports shutting up about politics I meant the sports media but I now retract that train of thought and apologize.

I have to agree with Finebaum because no SEC head coach would ever get away with being dominated by their most hated rival for as long as Harbaugh has been by Ohio St.

Jim Harbaugh is an easy answer here.

Hard to argue this one...UM fans just knew they'd have an NC by now and they still can't get past OSU. Dude's a Mack Brown clone in some ways.

Mack Brown has a championship ring.

Even Finebaum couldn't mess up that answer! But I agree with others- Jimbo & Herman are due for a breakout this season or they will start getting 1st place votes to contend with Harbaugh!

Well that’s not pawl. He’s not rated at all so can’t be overrated. They should replace his show with replays.

Isn’t Harbaugh the highest paid coach? Lol

Even before reading Finebaum's assessment, it was apparent it had to be Harbaugh. He's also the most blatant virtue signaling clown in college football as well.

I thought he was going to say Coach O. I had forgotten about Harbaugh.

Matt Rhule had to be up there in my opinion. He took a Baylor team in a recruit rich environment in a pathetic Big 12. He consistently lost to the only decent team in that conference, and suddenly he's eligible to run the NFL. Yeah, yeah, I know about the restriction on Baylor, but I think he's still way overrated.

Les Miles won a lot of big games though, Harbaugh hasn't won a single game of consequence, ever.
