Elite 2019 five-star offensive tackle Kenyon Green announced Monday night that he has de-committed from LSU and has reopened his recruitment.

The 6-5, 315-pound prospect from Humble, TX (Atascocita) originally committed to LSU back in December of 2016. He is the No. 2 overall offensive tackle in the country for the class of 2019, according to 247Sports.

LSU now has six verbal commitments for the class of 2019 with the departure of Green.

None of this nonsense matters until their signature is on that list on signing day... Until they show up on that list, they are not a Tiger IMO.

LOL, surely you are just trying to be funny right? You can't really think that LSU and Bama are afraid of losing recruits to A&M. Sorry but thats hilarity my man.

Relax people. He's just exploring. He wants to go on all these official visits and get wined and dined by the major universities out there. If he stayed committed, those universities wouldn't offer him visits. He de-committed to so these schools would offer him official visits. He's a 5 start recruit! He's earned those visits! let him enjoy what he's earned! after he's had his fun, he re-commit to LSU and all will be well. R.E.L.A.X.

Thanks to the early signing day LSU finds this out now and not the day he pulls a hat out of the bag on ESPN in Feb.

Just an elite recruit seeing the world. That said, let’s give zero credibility to this early commit bullshite. Beyond a year out.....zero.

Kids today have zero clue what the word "commitment" means. I don't give two shits about a 2019 recruit until next year, and I don't care about a 2018 commitment until the LOI is in.

It’s interesting that you seem to pop up when you have a chance to be negative about something related to a recruit. If you actually cared about the program and getting good recruits then you wouldn’t be calling a high school kid a douche just because he isn’t committed anymore. Your posts on here are highly suspicious and seem to be more than just giving your opinion. You seem to be trying really hard to convince people you’re a “Tigerfan” and trying really hard to piss recruits off at the same time.

They do it so they can tweet a message that contains more than 140 characters. It just happens to be a screenshot of the message.
