The SEC will be releasing their full 2024 football schedule sometime in December, but the dates of 12 of those games have been revealed by Chris Low of ESPN.

According to the report, LSU's future matchup vs. Texas A&M in 2024 is moving from Thanksgiving weekend to Oct. 26.

The move allows the Aggies to resume their long rivalry vs. Texas on Thanksgiving, with both teams playing each other on Nov. 30 next year. It also opens the door for LSU to face Arkansas on Thanksgiving weekend once again, as they did from 1992-2013.

The Tigers' opponent for the 2024 regular season finale has not been announced yet.

The only other date revealed that features LSU is their matchup vs. Alabama, which will be played on Nov. 9.

Notable 2024 SEC Matchups, according to ESPN:
Miami at Florida - Aug. 31
Notre Dame at Texas A&M - Aug. 31
Texas A&M at Florida - Sept. 14
Tennessee at Oklahoma - Sept. 21
Georgia at Alabama - Sept. 28
Alabama at Tennessee - Oct. 19
Georgia at Texas - Oct. 19
LSU at Texas A&M - Oct. 26
Alabama at LSU - Nov. 9
Texas at Arkansas - Nov. 16
Alabama at Oklahoma - Nov. 23
Texas at Texas A&M - Nov. 30

If you could pick LSU's season finale opponent on Thanksgiving weekend, who would it be?

My memory is 14-3, turning into 41-17 to a number 3 ranked Razorback squad.

Put Tulane on there. If Georgia gets to play GT every year and UF gets FSU or Miami, we should be able to have Tulane.

Might as well bring back Tulane to the schedule. Georgia, Kentucky, and Florida play in state/out of conference games to end the season, so why not put Tulane on the schedule again?

This was a good opportunity to restore LSU-OM to its traditional date. And whiff.

FLORIDA! I'm going to miss this shite out of those scaly bastards. Our games have been so crzy over the years. I was hooked when I watched my 1st game in TS in 1997. Never heard the stadium as loud and long as that after.

Man, frick Tulane. I don't them to gain any relevancy by having LSU be their SuperBowl every year and LSU looking forward to playoffs or Championship or both. Again, frick Tulane. I don't want that and I'm an OLD fricker.

Perfect time to reignite Tulane. Don't want Ar-kansas or to manufacture a "rivalry" with OU.

Would be nice to not have Alabama coincide with duck opener

Could’ve just move Bama and Auburn into the East and fill their spots in the west with Texas and Oklahoma? Seemed simple enough?

OU about to get screwed with Alabama the weekend before, and LSU the weekend after.

I could live with Arky or Tulane. Do we still have a bye before Bama or have they fckd that up too?

South Carolina has Clemson that weekend
Florida has FSU
Ole Miss has MSU
Bama has Auburn
OU has OSU
Vandy has Tennessee
aTm will have Texas

As much as it sucks, it will be Arkansas and it will be on the road

LSU will not play Tulane again because Tulane only has eight fans. No money in it for LSU.

If things hold up and our regular opponents are Bama, Aggies and ole miss, we will be playing a random sec team on rivalry weekend, unless they move the egg bowl earlier. Aggie/ TX and Bama/Auburn aren’t moving

If we are discussing 2024, it will not be Tulane. Especially since they are on their once every 30 yrs relevancy streak and we already have USC and UCLA and likely wouldn't break a contract with South Ala and Nicholls this late anyway.

Give us Arky. We're the only team playing big OOC games, we dont need to add another permanent powerhouse to the schedule. Does more harm than good if you ask me, look at michigan for instance. You only need to play 1 game.
