LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has fully recovered from his lisfranc foot injury and will work out in front of scouts at LSU's Pro Day on Wednesday, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.

Stingley Jr.'s injury cut his junior season short and kept him out of the NFL Combine last month. He's expected to be a high first-round pick in the NFL Draft, which start April 28.

Nothing expedites recovery like reports of dropping draft stock.

Would you advise differently if he was your son

His injury was poor work ethic.

Hopefully, the culture is changing at LSU and this kind of "talent" is no longer allowed to hold the team hostage while thinking only of themselves. It was rampant from Miles' tenure forward.

This young man & his family knew he was good enough for NFL and could make millions. What you do if this was your son

As long as people think the NFLSU thing is cool, it’ll be an issue.

Oh, I bet he has fully "recovered". Ronnie Lott once amputated his pinky finger when it was jacked up so that he didn't have to miss a game. A lot of the players in this current environment are prima donna pussies.

This injury will "flare up" again when his NFL team starts losing. Hopefully he goes to the browns.

Amazing! The timing couldn't be more perfect. Good thing he quit the team when he did. Not a day to spare...

His dad said they could "shut it down now if they wanted to" and then a couple weeks later a season ending injury AND now he is 100% for the pro day. This family is playing everyone...

I agree. The timing of all this injury bs is more than suspicious. Especially when you take the statements his Dad made about shutting it down.

You really think he faked the whole injury? You're a complete clown if you believe that

He ran a laser-timed forty at 4.30 flat in HS. I’m curious how he’ll do with more weight & muscle & speed training.

Bust, book it, daddy can't run the show in the league.

I know Chase took allot of grief for "opting out". I would much rather a player do this then what we have seen from numerous highly ranked juniors. They have these mysterious "lingering injuries" that magically are overcome in time for combines
