My wife knows her mom from college. It’s torn her up seeing the updates and having that personal connection.
Gen X gave us the Karen. Not a fantastic contribution to society.
Just bought a ticket for the Clemson game for a good price. After I submitted my payment, I realized the price is good because I think it’s in the visitor section. South end zone, lower bowl, section 404. Someone tell me I’m wrong.
I agree. No need for financial advisers in today’s day and age.
Investing in my children. Between the new Trump accounts and college 529 accounts that can roll over into Roth IRAs, my two daughters should have about $200,000 each in Roth accounts by age 25. I think I had $5,000 in a retirement account on my 30th birthday.
I’m born and bred in Louisiana. For most of us there is no such thing as a large metro.
My hypothesis is how it is commonplace for parents to pay for college, it will soon become commonplace for parents to give their children a downpayment for their first home. Don’t see any other path to home ownership for someone in their early to mid 20s.
I’m an optometrist and work at a couple of Walmart Vision Centers. I have bought glasses from Walmart and Warby Parker and like them both. Walmart’s frames max out around $150 and single vision lenses I think are less than $100. Where they get you is the progressive bifocals that cost I think $300 for just the lenses themselves.
Statistically blacks commit homicides and whites suicides. The suicide numbers always trump the homicide numbers if you were wondering.

We get them around my house in early summer every year. Usually they are gone by this time of year but still remain. Maybe they are liking all the unusual rain we have been having? Location: Shreveport.
I’m an optometrist and am self employed. It’s alright. Vision plans suck. When I wake up, I scramble to get to work, do paper work for 1.5 hours before I start seeing patients, then go home at 5:00 every day. I could work employed somewhere and cut back on the administrative work and stress, but would take a dramatic pay cut to do so. I need the money.
Day 3 pick at this point in time. Has had two good games (Clemson and Florida). Couldn’t even play well against Tech or Southeastern.

He’s not injured.
I’m gone until Pop Houston is named starter.
I don’t think he’s a liability. Unfortunately, he is a classic “tweener” who does not have a position to play on the football field. Too slow to be a safety, to small to be a linebacker or end.
If this were 2022, I’d feel great. But, he hasn’t played at an elite level going on three years coming off major knee surgery. Call me cautiously optimistic.
Money well wasted. But hey, it ain’t my money.
