LSU cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. has fully recovered from his lisfranc foot injury and will work out in front of scouts at LSU's Pro Day on Wednesday, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport.

Stingley Jr.'s injury cut his junior season short and kept him out of the NFL Combine last month. He's expected to be a high first-round pick in the NFL Draft, which start April 28.

Y’all talking bout his heart… you don’t get to his level of play without heart and putting the work in. It’s clear he has a close group of people guiding him and y’all think they’re full of shhhhh? His Father got paralyzed at the age of 26, retired from the NFL, and this kid still became a force proving he could dominate freshman year. 6 INT. He a damn ballhawk! Dealt with injuries second year but played 7 games. The season to forget, became about self preservation, going pro healthy and working out off the field. Be happy for a Tiger coming off that absolute train wreck of a season (PERSONALLY I THINK YALL JUST MAD AT CEO AND TAKE IT OUT ON THE KIDS). He could be another Kevin Toliver and y’all may say I told ya so.. Either way, Dude will be laughing his way to the bank. He’s got a family, people who have his back. I for one, hope he does well in the NFL and I hope he can properly manage his wealth. With the way his team has strategized in his favor, I believe he will. Stay classy TD

They can't measure heart at Pro Day and that's what he's lacking... Go look at his film, after 2019 and you'll see him avoiding contact/tackling.

Didn't he retire after 2019?

Did he hurt himself yet, this morning? His pro day is tomorrow, so he can get hurt this afternoon, and let it linger until the next combine.

Some of you guys that make statements need to just focus on your life and not a 19-21 year old kid. All this wishing and assuming the worst for a person speak volumes on the type of person you are.

Well fans are fans of the LSU team and Stingley was supposedly a member of the LSU team yet he hasn’t played much in two years. Now JUST IN TIME FOR PRO DAY Stingley is 100% recovered. You seem to be the one obsessed with Stingley as a person not the other posters. By the way, these 20 year old YOUNG MEN seem to be abusing the LSU team for their personal benefit so criticism and opinions should be expected.

His dad said they could "shut it down now if they wanted to" and then a couple weeks later a season ending injury AND now he is 100% for the pro day. This family is playing everyone...

I agree. The timing of all this injury bs is more than suspicious. Especially when you take the statements his Dad made about shutting it down.
