I can’t get over how down everyone is on the Tigers. We have a better team than last year and you expect a worse record? If we get anything out of the running game we win 9+. Wins against Miami, Ole piss, MSU, USL, Rice, LA Tech, ark and Texas AM and signed, written and sealed. Auburn, Bama and UG will be tough but winnable.

Actually when you crunch the real statistical odds, LSU has a far greater chance of winning the natty. I mean, far far greater. The likelihood of LSU winning a title this year greatly exceeds the likelihood of even one of the thousands of posters that visit this site on any given day being struck by lightning even once. So that's just ridiculous. LSU isn't winning more than 9, maybe 10 games this year, more than likely. But your anecdotal comparison is far greater than embellished hyperbole.
