Ole Miss Pulls Offer From Former LSU Staffer Austin Thomas
by TD Staff Reporter
February 2, 201824 Comments
An already rocky offseason for Austin Thomas continues on.
The Franklin, Tenn. native served as LSU's General Manager since 2016 but resigned in December to accept the same position at Tennessee. Once Thomas got to Knoxville the title and responsibility under new head coach Jeremy Pruitt did not work out for either party and the deal fell through.
Thomas was reportedly set to join Ole Miss' staff this week as the Associate AD for Player Personnel but had his offer pulled by Rebels. Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork made this statement about the situation:
It will be interesting to see where Thomas ends up.
