re: Jimbo addresses LSU - STRIPES
No stupid. LSU Athletics is completly self supporting and by law can't recieve a dollar of state revenue for athletics. The state budget struggles were regarding the Academic budgets of all public universities in Louisiana. In fact, LSU Athletics donates 7 to 10 million dollars every year back...

re: Jimbo addresses LSU - STRIPES
I question your assumption of Florida State's talent level being "as good as LSU's if not better". Being that LSU had 51 players on opening day NFL Rosters to Florida State's 40 I don't see how you can say Florida State has talent every bit as good as LSU and you certainly can't say it is better...

Nobody in their right mind would give Jimbo Fisher a guaranteed 75 million or guarantee TEN YEARS? I'm sorry Jimbo is not worth it. ...

LSU was 6th in Average Attendance last season at 98,506. That was 3rd best in the SEC. The sky isn't falling....

Matt Canada & Athlon. Two losers. Had Orgeron kept Matt Canada we would have lost Aranda. Bye Matt....

re: Home and Home with Tulane. Why not?? - STRIPES
No. Because it is a huge money loser. Tulane has their own chicken shite stadium which seats around 25,000 I think. Even the Superdome only seats around 75,000. Thet is a loss of 28,000 seats and tickets at best. The only way LSU should play Tulane is in Tiger Stadium....

re: Let’s think this through - STRIPES
Alabama at #1 has 20 committed. A&M at #2 has 21 committed. OU at #3 has fewer than LSU. LSU at #4 has 18 committed. Michigan at #5 has 20 committed That is the current top 5. I think LSU gets Sopsher, Cain, one of the WR from Tangipahoa, and (according to a reliable LSU commit) a highly r...

re: Let’s think this through - STRIPES
So your solution is Mike Leach (a guy who dresses up like a Pirate) or Lane Kiffin's crazy skirt chasing ass? Some of you had so many problems with Les Miles and thought he was too quirky yet you want Leach? Lol. Kiffin? Seriously? The guy is time bomb. By the way, the "oil collapse" as you...

re: LSU Ed O shares his early thoughts on Tigers' quarterback race. - STRIPES
You don't fire a coach after a year and a half (really a year) as the head coach. It isn't going to happen. In all fairness, LSU is going to be a hell of a lot better than most O haters think. LSU has excellent talent but was lacking depth at certain positions. Orgeron and staff went out and add...

re: Les really let the program slide - STRIPES
No you don't know shite about what I think. I am smart enough to know that Orgeron did not cost us the Citrus Bowl and neither did our DC even though it was a defensive breakdown that cost us the game. As a matter of fact, I was not a big fan of Orgeron but I am not an idiot who sees everything a...

re: Les really let the program slide - STRIPES
And we lost the game when a DB made a poor play. No coaches caused it. It happens. Did Warren Morris' HR not matter? It was a single swing of the bat. Did we not deserve to win that National Championship? Yes the the whole game matters but so does every play and swing of the bat in a close ga...

re: Les really let the program slide - STRIPES
Believe what you want. The game was lost on that play. How in the world you can make a statement that the game shouldn't have come down to a TD pass in a close game is denying there us another team out there. It is naive. Plays matter. They were in position but blew it. It mattered....

re: Les really let the program slide - STRIPES
Well coming back from 20 down to a very good Auburn team would be a sign of good coaching. So would gathering this team's confidence and finishing 9-3 after starting so poorly. You can't use a criteria to be negative without using the criteria when it is in his favor....

re: Les really let the program slide - STRIPES
Watching LSU's DL last year where depth was a real problem and hearing Aranda mention how thin we were was eye opening. LSU was too thin on both the OL & DL. The LSU staff went out and did a fantastic job getting top JUCO players and then recruiting top high school talent as well. LSU was in a situa...
