They have NC State, Wake Forest, and Houston in but not LSU? Total BS.

Yet LSU would be favored in neutral site matchups versus at least 10 of those teams. These polls are useless

We let them down the past couple years. We shouldn't expect more.

Good. They need to prove themselves. I like it.

No LSU, Auburn or Florida. Bet it’s been a VERY long time since all three were left off the pre-season top 25 poll. May date back to the old Top 20 polls.

People here are going to get upset about this when it actually means nothing at all.

We're stacked but unproven

We've had back to back abysmal years and are breaking in a new staff and new team

Funny LSU is unranked but probably be favored against half of these team at a neutral site.

Amazing how Aranda with much less talent blows it out in Year 2 and is still predicted to be in the Top in Year 3.
Let's hope our great coaching staff can do the same at LSU.

Who couldn’t run this table? LINK

It's August, and many of these teams will have 2 losses in September. So I'll wait.

I’m not saying LSU should be in the top 15-20, but I can damn sure see some teams on that list that have no business being ahead of LSU.

Wake forest, pitt, UM to name a few

I’m not an LSU fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I don’t think there’s any doubt that this LSU team is comfortably in the top 15 today, likely higher when it’s all said and done this year.

Like USC and Texas.......

I’d take that bet all day. At least we aren’t ranked 13th for what seems to be every year for 15 straight.

It should be obvious that this is a big FU to Brian Kelly by the media

It’s the Coaches Poll, not the AP.

We are very likely better than half those teams

Better news is that only two teams on our schedule are ranked in the Top 20. 10-2 entirely achievable!

Wait...so Wake Forest is better than LSU? Houston is better than LSU? The frick am I looking at?

Good, we can play all year with chip on our shoulder just like the last two LSU teams to play for National Championships
