They don't know that Garret Nussmeier, a first round talent with elite arm talent will be the starter at QB. They don't know that the OL will be significantly better and a lot deeper. They don't know that the tight end room will be significantly better. They also don't know that the running back room is elite, and they don't have a clue about LSU defensive secondary.

Hence, everyone is sleeping on LSU big time. Nonetheless, there isn't a football team in America that will make a bigger splash and more waves this season other than LSU.

Go back and watch our bowl game last year. I wouldn’t rank this team if Lord Saban was coaching.
Sure things are looking much better. However, LSU still a huge unknown.
Let the season develop and then look at the rankings.

Rankings don’t mean anything and we shouldn’t care about them until the end of the season.

Half the teams on there limp away with 5-6 losses if they played our schedule.
