too many idiots had sausage to stuff in their fat faces while sucking down PBR's at the tailgates

I wish I had some sausage and PBR's to stuff in my face right now

I'm sure you'd like a big, hot sausage in your face right now Buckeye. However, please keep your personal preferences to yourself.

Les Miles needs to worry about coaching and let me worry about when and how I get to and from the game.

It clearly says he was asked the question

Doubt he was worrying lmao. Doubt he really gives a crap about what the "fans" do anyways. He was asked the question. Smh

Seriously, most of you are acting like he went out his way to make this point.

Just keep track of the number of folks that leave, then open the stadium up to whoever at the half.

right, cause there was a line to get in

I'm all for this. As long as they get searched and have to follow the same rules as ticket holders. Move your meat, lose your seat.
user avatar
Mike da Tigah92 months
There would be a line if they knew that was the rule. One leave, another gets to take their place. I'll take some sideline seats FTW.

Better food outside at tailgates with free beer. Easy access port-a-john. HDTV probably better view than upper deck. Beat the traffic. If I go I don't leave, but TV viewing is much better and the costs to go are steep. But my uncle gives me his tickets once a year and I'm always there start to end. But if someone has season tickets, they may think differently than someone who goes to one game a year.
user avatar
saint tiger22592 months
Why even buy season tickets or go to the game then if they leave for your reasonings? Seems they should just stay home.

Will people quit whining about folks leaving the games early? Jeez...

This is like a comedian bombing on stage then getting onto the crowd for not laughing at his jokes

I leave after the pre-game band salute and before the kickoff. Only problem is running through the people trying to get to their seats. Once I'm back to my car I rarely encounter much traffic on the way home. I bet I beat all of you to the bathroom.

Yes you're the guy whacking it in your car.....both to the game and back home.

Maybe they knew les would lay an egg in the second half like the previous week.

It's too hot... It's too cold... It's too rainy... It's too much traffic... I'm losing my buzz.... I'm hungry... I'm sleepy... The offense stinks... Wah wah wah... There's never enough excuses. Keep em coming.

All of those things are very true though... We left because it was humid AF and our buzz had worn off to the point where we were noticing the humidity. Went to the Varsity to finish the game. Regained buzz. Win.

isn't this just a tradition, much in the same way as "tiger bait" is?

I got puked on by some fat, drunk bitch behind me in the bleachers. I hope Les and the team understand.

If only Les worried that much about scoring, we may have something.

Yeah people that leave shouldn't go back!! Stay for the team gee respect your team people. I mean it is MS but still need to stay for our Tigers these guys love that!! It does make a difference you leave like the game is over that spills into the team also. It shouldn't but it just does. STAY for our Tigers. I never leave

It was actually Miss St., MS was playing Alabama on Saturday.
user avatar

This is what happens when tailgating has evolved to a point where football is no longer the reason for going to a game in the first place.
user avatar
mcpotiger92 months
I don't disagree with Les. Should be there for the team.
user avatar

Is that why the team forgot to play the 2nd half?

Ask fournette after we marched from the one yard into scoring range. Don't blame les for your inadequacies.
user avatar
BayouBengals1892 months
Sorry Les, I had an hour and a half drive home and had to be at work at 5AM. When I left at the beginning of the 4th quarter, we were up by 17 and had dominated the entire game. I didn't realize it was my presence in the stadium that was stopping State from scoring, and not our defense. I'll never leave early again.

If you had to be to work at 5am, why bother going to a night game? That's your problem with logistics. Not LSU's fault

Well Prom, that's about a stupid of logic as I've heard. Dude went, tailgated, and stayed till his deadline and we were up 3 scores.
user avatar
Prominentwon92 months
So what if LSU wasn't up and it was a close game all the way through? He would have left because he had to work at 5am or would he have stayed?
