Sorry, the sentence about getting to the game should read "but not overly long."

My time for attending games was when the stadium was 68,000 capacity. Parking was generally close by and tailgating nearby too. Getting there and getting out was a nuisance, but overly long. So, expansions came in over several additions. No longer can park near unless paying, pay for close (laughable ) tailgating places, traffic becomes unbelievable, Park 3 miles away and walk. More money rolls in, but monumental problem getting to and from the game. I'd rather watch from home. The ironic thing is that the die hard fans who stay the entire game have the least traffic delays going home. Except othe LONG walk to their care

I have heard from players that they believe it is their job to make the crowd leave by blowing out less talented teams.

What the doctor has ordered is a full four quarters butt whipping at Auburn. Can the real purple and gold finally stand up.

If you have no interest in the denouement why bother with the game at all.

The atmosphere has changed. I really don't need to listen to rap music every second. It's like going to an NBA game.

People leave to beat the traffic because of the horrible contra flow.

This has always been a mystery at LSU. It's happening all over the country now days. I think having that many people slows down the internet in that area. And once you've got dressed up, traveled to the stadium, took your daily dose of "Look where I am!!!" selfies... Who could blame you for leaving and finding somewhere with better signal.

Will someone please tell Les that the fans will stay if he would make his offense a little more exciting to watch. The fans are leaving because it's borderline boredom.

A little more exciting? Did you see the two reverses and the halfback pass that was attempted? What else do you want, Jonathan Moxon's Hook and Ladder?

LSU fans can't make it through a 3.5 hour game, but they can tailgate for 8 hours.

sounds like the fans have seen enough

Maybe when the team plays a complete game fans will stay for a complete game. It doesn't seem like the fans are the only ones that leave at halftime.

The amount of adults (oh which likely most don't goto games at all) complaining about the behavior of other adults attendance on here is just completely absurd.

LSU may be DBU but it's also Fairweather Fan U. I saw a graphic the other day during the Nebraska-Oregon game that said Nebraska was on its 350th consecutive sellout stretching all the way back to 1962. Now THAT's what I call loyal fans!

Nice ass. Have an upvote.

There's a difference between a sellout and people staying the entire game. LSU has sold out for many many years now. Are you saying every seat is filled at the final whistle each and every game at Nebraska? If so, then certainly that's some great fans.

Start serving beer in the stadium until the 4th quarter. Bet that'll help.

Les needs to be more assertive. When Bama was having this problem, Saban made no bones about his displeasure. LSU deserves a coach who does the same rather than just kinda suggests people, you know, hang around and stuff.

Saban can eat a dick. I get there and leave when I damn well please.

When I was going to LSU, I was one of the guys that painted up with my dorm mates and stayed until the end of the game sun or rain!

I have always stayed the entire game except once with little kids and bad weather. I didn't see any benefit except how late it was. Traffic sucked the same

Many have asked, what would it take to keep fans in the seats.....this. This combined with the players simply asking the fans to stay would make a pretty big impact in my humble opinion.
