The LSU coaching staff landed a commitment from three-star defensive tackle Darryus McKinley on Friday.

Darryus is the younger brother of LSU defensive tackle Dominick McKinley.

The 6-3, 275-pound standout from Lafayette, La (Acadiana), chose the Tigers over Tennessee, Texas, and Florida.

McKinley's verbal pledge gives LSU 17 commitments for the class of 2026.

That's great, can never have too many DL. Don't worry about the star thing seems like Louisiana kids always play way better than whatever stars they give them
