Handling the JD situation

Tell him the use of #5 at LSU isn’t his to control, and the school’s copy of the Heisman isn’t his property, but he’s welcome to spend money litigating those.
Tell him LSU is pulling Jayden Daniels merchandise from all sales outlets, and will never sell it again under any circumstances.
This solves the problem of dealing with the Daniels family, and sends a message to future players to be careful what they demand. Wishes can be granted.

there are already like 100 posts on TD about this......................

I don't think this is an issue for anyone except JD.
He needs to understand what he's doing. I've read a lot of opinions on this from folks who have no LSU affiliation. It's damaging his reputation.

I kind of like the way LSU is playing. Don’t say anything. They know they are winning.

Yeah, but he needed his own attention.
And his take on it has NEVER been discussed, and will be crucial in LSU handling this matter.

looking forward to when everyone is awake from their coma and lets us know what they think about JD

I like this as well. The longer we stay silent, the more pissed his momma becomes. Hopefully, he will grow some stones and tell her to drop it.

This is a PR disaster. The only thing he can do to salvage is immediately replace his "family" that's running PR and acting as his agent
It's almost like all those people who were telling him "you gotta get better representation ".. "you can't let your moms be your agent and run your PR"... we're on to something.
Now this atomic bomb has gone off and I don't know if he can or has the nuts to do what needs to be done to salvage it.

Seems like the Sophomore got exactly what he demanded...maybe that is the precedent here.. come to LSU and they will honor all demands to keep you from transferring

Rebrand all the “that kid” bullshite to “that spoiled brat kid”. Or just ignore it and let him continue to look like a douche bag. Either path does the same thing. JDs legacy is fricked at lsu.

Send contact to JD and not his mom. Deal through him. Otherwise, ignore it. He has no leg to stand on. Focus on Clemson and take the high road.

If it was a new demand, sure. It isn’t. He was promised the number during his recruitment. We should honor that promise.
Then we should never do it again.

But what if a high up told him they would never use it?

Competing teams and fans have learned, now, how to get in his fragile head.
LSU #5 Jerseys with DJ's name on it.
DJ gonna' be everywhere!

No, it makes the current problem worse and creates ones that don’t yet exist.

Y’all are some of wild, emotional women with these posts after having all of yesterday to process it and a night to sleep on it. Woke up to see that probably the greatest figure in LSU sports passed away. And these are the threads we’re starting? The posts we’re making?
Is JD in the wrong? 1000%. But these wanting your 100,000 pounds of flesh posts instead of just 1 are getting silly. Funny to me, though, so by all means, proceed.

Exactly, national media is destroying him and "His Team" which everyone knows is his mom. It is up to him to fix this. LSU is handling it perfectly, don't say anything.
