I'll be cheering for him to lose every game and NFL players and fans to mercilessly mock him in every stadium.
Such irony/hypocrisy for him to be claiming to focusing on Commanders football when obviously "his camp" is almost entirely focused on LSU.

I don't think his comment is acting like an adult even. It's probably more saying, "I need to focus on football, and not let my mom be a distraction, although I also can't double cross my mom by walking back the shite storm she created."

There have been very very few LSU athletes in all sports I root for once they leave LSU. Shaq, Ben McDonald, Kevin Faulk, Joe Burrow, Todd Walker and maybe a few others but when the vast majority leave, I stop "rooting" for them. I don't necessarily want them to fail and hope they find happiness and success but the attachment ends once they leave for most and Daniels was in the "most" for me, Heisman or not.
