He will go on a Saban/Bama style generational run and they will HAVE to adjust the rules because Kiffin will be too successful at LSU.

Exhibit #1 Dae'Quan Wright.

It's going to be glorious while it lasts boys but it will surely end by the hand of regulation.

I hope they regulate CFB and make it turn back normal…

Lane would dominate even further with Louisiana being so talent-rich. NIL/Portal era is not for the weak hearted

Yes, not a day has gone by that I have not been thankful that you said it.

It's getting pretty wild but I fully intend to enjoy it while we can. I've tried to be realistic and settled on 9-3 because of the difficulty of our schedule but man... there's really no excuse for this roster to miss the playoff at this point.

The pressure was already high it’s even higher now. It really feels like it’s national championship or bust in a literal 2026 sense. Not in a potential eventually sense. It has to happen now for Kiffin.

This can’t blow up in his face. He has to get it done.

Look I’m glad we have Kiffin too, but this is hilarious

Lane is definitely aggressive, taking advantage of the rules. Kelly wouldn’t have worked that hard…. I wish Lane could locate 1-2 more OL players, but he’s doing great!

LSU is not doing anything that isn’t available to the other 100 D1 programs.

National media and coaches are going to be the ones painting LSU and Kiffin as the boogie man even when other programs do the same thing.

This was discussed ad nauseum among boosters and this was exactly the thinking. CFB is basically the wild west with some loosely-enforced rules now and we were losing to Ole Miss; a team we outspend year over year in every respect because they had a staff that was pushing the limits of the framework. Now with the appropriate resources and the correct mentality from top to bottom, it's time to run the table.

In 10 years CFB will basically become a structured minor league with college logos, branding, players union(s) and salary caps. Until then, let's hope we can capitalize.
