Mouse experiments across breast, lung, and colon cancer models, conducted in female mice, showed reduced metastasis, while cell-line experiments showed reduced migration and viability. An analysis of health records from more than 40,000 male cancer patients found that men who had filled at least three sildenafil prescriptions in the six months before diagnosis and also used statins were associated with a 31% lower risk of death within five years, compared to those who used neither drug.
