Maybe he didn’t want the current players to see how winners think and act…Wow, must be some significant insecurity involved here!
Jimbo Fisher, Matt McMahon and Brian Kelly…Three horrific hires! This isn’t that hard to figure out!
Lou Holtz, Spurrier and Saban are all former great Coaches but they are all older than Brian Kelly and he was almost too old…I think we need somebody who is a bit younger because head coach at LSU requires a lot of energy and passion…

I like Nuss. He’s a really good kid but I would be giving MVB the most reps with the first team and plan on giving him the start against Bama…
Of course Saban has an unbeatable resume but personally I would like to hire a young, energetic Coach that’s full of fire and passion. Football is a sport that to be played well must be played with emotion. I don’t want a Coach that’s even close to Brian Kelly’s age, much less someone who’s older…
Hopefully, we can hire a Coach who will “spoil” us with wins again…
I think the problem is that when Brian Kelly was hired at LSU it was so much guaranteed money that Kelly looked at it as his retirement and he has been retired ever since the day he was hired…I think LSU and other schools need to rethink these absurd contracts and put the emphasis on pay for performance. We need to have contracts that will make coaches wealthy if they win big but not for just showing up and doing press conferences where they say “We need to clean things up…”

I completely agree with this opinion…We would be better off with Curley Hallman!!
All I can say about dumping Kelly is…Todd Graves please help us! If you help with his buyout we will have one love and it will be you!
I wonder if Nuss should go back to wearing #13 before the S. Carolina game? Just a crazy thought because since he started wearing #18 he just doesn’t look nearly as good or as confident as he used to…I’m not big on superstition but I don’t think it would do any harm! I’m also not trying to put our offensive problems on just Nussmeier either because it is a team game and Nuss needs everybody to do better on offense and that includes the Coaches…
I wish Kyren would have reached out to Coach Kelly when he was in trouble…It may not have changed the very unfortunate outcome but we will never know…I feel like he at least would have had a more competent attorney if Coach Kelly would have been involved from the beginning. RIP Kyren
My thinking on this is that unfortunately their 3 guys are better, stronger and faster than our 5 guys are…

re: Does LSU need to run less RPO?

One thing I think we need to do is to stop throwing the ball sideways so much. When you throw the ball to the sidelines you are asking the receiver to first make the catch and then make a first down which means that many times he has to run 13 yards or more to get the first down…This is the only pass play that you can lose yards on. Call me old fashion but I like the passes where if our receiver makes the catch, we make a first down. Of course if we throw sideways on 1st down we don’t have to get a first down but it is still asking a lot from our receivers…
