Sad to see Coach "O" like that! Just hope and pray that he recovers from his current situation and gets back to his old jubilant self!

He has gotten as lot worse looking since his sons wedding.
Man, I hope doesn't have cancer or something. I haven't seen anything about whats going on. I know its not our business but man I hope he recovers and gets better.

The cane is probably due to the hip replacement and the sepsis has caused complications with it.

When did he get hip replacement? I didn't know that.

Sepsis is no joke. It really messes people up or kills them.

It was mentioned a while back. I've had a hip replaced and a step in the recovery process is the cane. Lasts about 2-3 weeks, and as we know his has been way longer.

Post op infections happen more than you would think. It’s an invasive procedure.

Jesus, who cares?! The dude quit on LSU, totally destroyed and embarrassed the program and the university for a few years. Then he tried to screw over his ex wife over by not giving her any of his $17,000,000 parting gift. He only did when forced to by a judge. Then he blew all his money. He’s a true POS. Prior to the season he went on a national begging tour trying to find a job and nobody would touch him. NOBODY. He even had his agent set up a fake “interview” for the Tulane job to make it look like there was interest. He’s a con man to his core. Even Lane told him no but finally relented and created some BS job for him. 100% Cookie Monster knew about his health issues and needed the job for the health insurance since he blew his millions. He had no intention of actually ever doing any work.

The guy is a con man and a total POS. I don’t have any idea why some of you idiots still bring him up.

They got divorced a year before he got that contract. I would have done the same thing.

Coach O nearly died from a severe sepsis infection while in the hispital. About 30% of patients that get severe sepsis infection die in the hospitals. Of those that survive, 20%-25% die with the next 12 months. Roughly 50% die within five years.

Coach O is suffering from Post-Sepsis Syndrome. Up to 50% of survivors experience Post-Sepsis Syndrome, which includes lingering physical weakness, extreme fatigue, joint or muscle pain, shortness of breath, and brain fog or memory issues.

Some older adults or individuals with multiple pre-existing health conditions never fully return to their pre-sepsis level of health.

Prayers for Coach O to beat the odds.

Hopefully Coach O is doing well. Whatever people think about his time at LSU, he gave this program some unforgettable moments. Wishing him nothing but the best.
