Regarding the 4th and 1, it's just not LSU...

When a team has a slim lead late in the game, they tend to get more conservative in their play calling. Both in college football and the NFL. Most of The Rant is knowledgeable enough about football to know this.
How many times do you see a team with a slim lead go conservative on offense and punt with little time left on the clock, only to see the opposing team drive down the field to tie the game to force OT, or win. This strategy has been around forever, even teams playing prevent defense, which we all know prevents you from winning!
Anyway, time to move on. There's still a lot of football left to play!

I do not blame Lane for punting there. Not his fault his defensive coordinator is the biggest fraud in CFB.

I’m not sure that Baker is the guy because anyone who leaves the middle wide open on a two point conversion doesn’t deserve any trust from anyone…

It was wasting a timeout to make the decision that was ridiculous. The entire game we were disorganized and undisciplined.
