Never thought I’d say this but I yearn for the days of Jefferson Pilot games with Dave, Dave, and Dave

I was standing near the portal right where Devery crossed the goal line, wanting to see the last play. I didn’t hear the Hawthorne call (Jack Hunt!) until I got back to Louisiana.
What was funny was 2/3 of the students didn’t know they lost

Just go watch a clip of the Bluegrass miracle with the radio call audio.

Another tidbit lost to history. When we lost the OT game at Kentucky in 2007 someone booked rooms at the hotel downtown attached to Ruff arena. And it happened to be the night of march madness starting at midnight that Saturday, with the goober fans making racket until past 2am. The coaching staff were not happy campers. Someone got reemed out over that one

I hope Kiffin puts Henderson and Randall in his posse for this weekend.

He also had 15 tackles that day. He was a hero.

In the 90s my dad and me were listening to a game on the radio. Can't remember who lsu was playing. Lsu was kicking a field goal and Hawthorne said, "it's long enough, it's straight enough, and he MISSED IT!" lol

How can I forget it. I walked out 2 seconds before the throw and catch.

Well I was asked to leave because the UK fans were getting very confrontational.
