Drove through on Tuesday. Nice scenery along highway 6. Toledo Bend is right there. Shreveport and Natchitoches aren’t far. Downtown was pretty cool. Seemed to have a different vibe to your typical small podunk CENLA or SELA town.

Would.

I don’t believe you have the gumption nor the wherewithal to say that to his face.

Decent schools I think and a lot of rich people live in Toledo bend. You’re right it’s kind of a little hidden gem.

Many people have said nice things about that town.

I’m just one füt; I don’t know how much I could possibly say about that.

I'm sorry you had to unleash this side, but I love it when you get all bitchy and wild.

West of Natchitoches a lot of the creeks and geographic features have Spanish names, in some cases anglicized, eg, Sammy Gill was originally San Miguel. Los Adaes was once the Spanish capital of Texas. Later Ft Jessup was the jumping off point for Texas and points west. Practically every historic figure you can think of passed through there at one time or another.

Further north around Zwolle is a band of Apache Indians. When the Comanche drove the Apache ot of Texas, most went west to New Mexico and Arizona. One band went east and settled in Louisiana.
