Boston - Recs.

Posted by GITiger66 on 7/17/26 at 2:43 pm
Will be in Boston for three days in about two weeks and looking for activity and dining recs. Staying near Boston Common. Planning to do the freedom trail and the constitution and likely walk around Harvard. Will be me and the wife and two teenagers.
I’ve heard that we should eat near the north end, but no specific recs.

I know. that Anita has a great boston guide somewhere but I can’t seem to find it Thank you.

agree. and check/watch the tires. The worst thing for tires is set up (especially in the grass and sun).
we are headed up that way next month. which outfit did you go sailing with ? would like to do that.
have a few smaller spinning reels that need to be cleaned and serviced. would yall recommend Favaros? or elsewhere in the BR area ?

Where to stay in Boston.

will be in Boston for a couple of days with the Family for a couple of days at the end of a Maine trip in late July. Never been to Boston and would appreciate recs on what part of the city to stay in. Bonus for specific hotel recs. thanks

completely agree. have had kids sports events and other stuff and not even sweating not being on the coast because the weather has been so bad. planning to head down this weekend for Swollfest. looks like it is going to keep on blowing
Quit being a puss and let the birds do their thing. Get a white noise machine.
this. a sidewinder spoon is deadly from coast to coast
It’s like any other investment. you make your money on the buy in. if you buy at the top it’s almost impossible to ever get your money back. Also depends on the amenities and quality of the property.

this. too easy not to.
I own a pioneer 1000 and have been very happy with it. However, for what you’re describing, I would strongly consider a Kawasaki mule six seater with the dump bed. Those things are not the most trail capable, but are very solid machines almost indestructible.

Thanks guys. the most important thing is to let them know that they are in the wrong side and to keep up the pressure.

Unfortunately our republican governor is squarely against sportsman on this issue. His staff was on the house floor to make sure the vote went against us.

don’t just email them, call them. While it wasn’t surprising, it was disappointing. and yes, Landry is behind the scenes fighting it. He has taken close to a million dollars from these guys and likely more that is not easily traced.
