don’t just email them, call them. While it wasn’t surprising, it was disappointing. and yes, Landry is behind the scenes fighting it. He has taken close to a million dollars from these guys and likely more that is not easily traced.

lots of good advice here. Sorry to see about the permits/private land on the highway to hana. We did that drive on our Honeymoon almost 20 yrs ago and it was incredible. Grabbed some beer and snacks and took off. Hit most of the waterfalls, black sand beach, etc. was awesome.

Maine Summer Trip

Posted by GITiger66 on 4/3/26 at 9:05 pm
Planning a trip to Maine in july with the family and would appreciate input. Will be two adults and two kids ages 12&15. like to hike, hit the beach, cool restaurants and hopefully get on the water at least one day. 10-12 days for the trip. initial thought is to fly into Boston and see a sox game and then drive up through maine and end up at Acadia Natl Park. which town ls to stay in? how long to stay in each area? thank you!

I think the trail down to the lake at crater is supposed to be closed for a year or two. we did both last summer. Crater is cool, but really only for a day or so. I would recommend spending a few days on the oregon coast, hit astoria and then drive up to Olympic. how much time wil you have ?
The double basket electric fryers are the ticket. set the temp and forget it. And you can pull the heating element and dishwash the rest of it

well said. completely agree. the other real concern is that if (when) they get pushed out of the east coast there is nothing to stop them from coming here. Our governor has taken a lot of money from them and continues to block any reasonable regulations.

Got back today from Winter Park. Had steady snow since Tuesday and light crowds. Really liked the chill (non-bougie) vibe of WP. Kids skied really well. Found some great local restaurants. will definitely be back.
The ice fields parkway drive was a highlight of our trip to that area.
Driving in and around Tulum is a breeze. Took Oceans advice and went down last year for a week. Had a great time. The Ruins at Coba were amazing
