MIL is In the hospital for the second time since Sunday with afib.

She probably needs an ablation if they can’t control it with meds. I have two coworkers that have ablations done every few years.

Yeah, planned for Monday but she’s 74 so it’s a 50/50 at her age. Quality of life without it will suck so we will see.

She will be alright at 74YO….very quick and easy procedure. People often go to a hospital in Birmingham to get that done. I am in central Mississippi, so if y’all want to go that route and need a place to stay, let me know.

It’s both dangerous and scary but it’s usually fairly treatable. Pop got a pacemaker and mom had the cardiac ablation and both are still kicking. Prayers for you, and MILs family.

Looks like the procedure didn’t work, she is still in the hospital.
Wife and her are discussing end of life things and I am nodding.
She hasn’t given up but not sure how much fight she has left at 78.
