It’s pretty straight forward unless you buy a Tesla. My 2022 F250 I bought in Texas living in LA and the dealership handled everything. My 2023 Tesla I hade to take delivery in MS then handle the taxes in LA. Had to go to denham and pay TTL.

I just bought a truck in MS. They took taxes for my zip, they work with a title Co in LA, my plate, registration and title came in the mail. Very easy.

All reputable dealerships do this all the time now. The hardest part is arranging transportation back to your home state. We bought a vehicle in Wisconsin and had it shipped to Utah. In some ways it was easier than dealing with the run around at a local dealer.

I’ve had the same experience buying cars from Texas dealers. Not a problem.
