Utility Trailer Board Replacement - BR area

any recs on the place in the BR area to get boards changed on Utility trailer ? yes I could so it myself but don’t really have the time right now he now n

Man, I just replaced the boards on my 14’ trailer. By the time I had to pick up the treated boards(16’), cut off 2’, placed them, drilled the holes. Put the bolts/nuts, tightened them, I think I’d have been better off trading for a new trailer, lol…

Just make sure to use boards treated for ground contact, especially if the trailer will be kept without cover.

You could do it in an hour. Or less. Use the self tapping screws designed to fasten wood to metal. Very little, if any, drilling required.

Sure you can. I’ve done it many times. Maybe some can’t. But, it ain’t that hard.
Correction : I wasn’t accounting for the time, labor to remove the existing boards. That will likely be the most difficult, time consuming part of the project.

That’s what they’re made for. Not a lot of vertical force where you would need bolts with lock washers and nuts. But, if you feel more secure with the bolts, go ahead and use those. No offense intended.

I’m sure that’s why you’re getting downvoted. That, and the guy asked where to bring it, not how to do it.
It took me more than an hour just to go to the store and buy new boards.
