Lane on Trey'dez from today's presser:

"If there's anybody that's going to come back sooner than maybe what people thought it would be him... so getting closer."

I am sure he has that also because the Ole Miss player basically speared him in the thigh with his helmet. With his leg planted I guess the knee injury happened from the force of the hit and his foot planted. He is really lucky it wasn’t a lot worse

Sounded like at least a couple more weeks.

Idk, but every time injuries come up Lane looks like someone shot his dog. He even brought them up today unprompted.

Get the sense he believes weeks & green are worth a couple of Ws.

He opened with saying no injuries this week, because the a-hole media that cover LSU always open the questioning with shite about injuries. Even this week, when Kiffen pre-empted them, Glen Dildo still had to go there. Coaches do not talk about injuries on a Monday presser, yet they keep asking. Maybe they should have paid attention in journalism classes?

With both healthy, we're a legit NC contender. With both hurt, we're fringe top 12 probably.

We just can't really afford to drop a game not Texas, Bama, or Tennessee, especially with the weak schedules in the B12, ACC, and B10.

I was talking about when asked how he felt about the team & he responded “if everyone was healthy I’d feel great.”

I am a little concerned that it’s eating him up as much as it’s eating us up, but I may be reading into it.

We are seeing that Lane believes that this team could really be special with everyone available. Unfortunately, the injuries are to KEY players.

I saw him in the ops building prior to Saturday’s game and he was walking fine without a boot or brace. When asked he said he feels fine.

Now that's the kind of Intel we need. Thanks

Grade 2 MCL sprain. He had the brace on under his pants during the game this past weekend but he’s out of it now. He will still need a few weeks to get mobility and strength back. He will be ready for Bama, Whit will not. The only way we see Whit again I fear will be if we make the playoff. The big test for Trey’Dez will be that first time he takes a hit on his legs and (hopefully) pops back up.

If he were wearing the real knee pads, it might not have happened. They play in freaking shorts today!

A knee pad would not avoid that injury

I’m so sick of hearing this narrative. Do you really think a small piece of foam would have prevented that injury? Negative.
