He was physical all game, flying around, and lockdown in man coverage. He’s truly as talented as any corner in the country when he’s in man. Know MSU had a backup but the DB’s as a whole had a strong day in man coverage multiple plays the state qb had no where to go with the football because everyone was covered

Was listening to the game live at work, but just got home and watched highlights. 100% agree, he looked great. Especially loved watching him blow up the moo State dude on the wr screen and jar the ball loose to fall incomplete, that was a monster hit, reminded me of the good ole days of LSU D.

How many 6’5” athletic corners that can run sub 4.4 forty are there on the planet?

Amazing what a 6-4 top CB in the nation prospect can do when you let him play man over dumb arse soft zone.

He’s elite of the elites. Nobody wants to go near him but anytime they do he’s touching the ball, he’s close to picking it off, the ball ends up on the ground somehow. He’s not the same kind of player that HB7 was but he’s got that ability to put the ball in danger all the time.

Woodland also played a great game.

Too bad his DC makes him play the deep third of cover 3 more than 50% of the time

He’s been really good at neutralizing some great playmakers for our D.

Matched up on Anthony Evans majority of the game in the slot. Had great coverage on him

Feels whenever we’re in press coverage teams rarely look his way. Almost made an acrobatic pick today. Not in the same type of way but like honey badger he simply has a nose for the football and making plays

Theirs truly no corner like him in the country. Not only from size and speed aspect but simply his agility and short area quickness. Big corners shouldn’t be able to transition and stop on a dime as smoothly as DJ does.

I’d like to see more of this and you can set some traps on parts of the field that might force some throws his way to result in some big plays.

Jackson was great as well, although I thought he got away with PI on that corner fade in end zone.
