Beatty hitting 97 from the left side is pretty impressive.

Santarelli at 117 of the bat is insane for a freshman. He’s going to be fun to watch the next couple years

Santarelli’s HR made a different sound when the ball hit the bat. The whole crowd said ooohhh!.

Didn’t he hit one close to that off the bat last weekend too?

Looks like the backups beat the veteran projected lineup

I see there being some tight battles here.

Davis is giving me Curiel vibes so far and I think he'll give Wachs a tight battle for CF.

For Santarelli, if he can hang well against SEC pitching, it's going to be hard to keep him off the field. But where do you put him if Braun, Bide, and Serna are in along with Waters and Laya on the corner OF?

Washington, Naw, and Ruckert are also interesting.

If things don’t shake out after spring scrimmages, coach J will have some tough decisions to make. Lots of position player depth to deal with

How is Santarelli defensively? Serious shot at starting at first base? Or is it Brauns position to lose?

Is something up with Bino? I haven’t seen his name much on these fall scrimmage reports

Watters hasn’t played this fall because of a minor upper-body injury, coach Jay Johnson told the Advocate on Sunday. Johnson believes he could return to action for the last few weeks of the fall.

Both of Santarelli’s HR were off Velasquez.

You can tell he has some experience playing first base. Small sample size but he looked fine there.

Neither has looked bad at 1st or outfield. Santarelli has the two dingers but Braun’s batting average is more than one hundred points higher this fall.
