None of these teams belong in the top 10/15. If the committee doesn't punish them for playing shitty schedules, then there's something really wrong.

Ball State, WKU, Kent State, and LaTech all have better SOS than Miami. Just saying

Pollsters rate them high because they know they’ll likely win their easy games and thus make it look like the pollster was right.

Nobody above us lost. I guess we will be #15 again.

Be prepared to witness "really wrong" when the initial rankings come out. History tells us they will likely almost mirror the AP.

Yeah the fact that there’s not some universal objective metric to point to is laughable in 2026

Damn near every other major sport has figured this out but College Football? Let’s leave it up to a bunch of people who “watch the games”

There is something really wrong

That is the fact that the average voter in the AP cannot tell the difference between a team playing Western Michigan and a team playing Oklahoma. The only number that has ever mattered in college football is the number in the loss column. The committee is exactly the same as the AP, no matter what they say.

The system that has almost exactly matched the committee every single time so far?

2 Losses - 11 teams

At least two fewer after this week.

Texas at Missouri

Alabama at LSU

And we also have two matchups with 1-loss and 2-loss teams.

Kentucky at Tennessee

Georgia at Ole Miss

All in the SEC.

So, just considering the SEC schedule, we will look like (four 2-loss teams drop to 3 losses)

1 Loss - 8 teams
2 Losses - 7 teams

or (two 1-loss teams drop to 2 losses and two 2-loss teams drop to 3 losses)

1 Loss - 6 teams
2 Losses - 11 teams

or (one 1-loss team drops to 2 losses and three 2-loss teams drop to 3 losses)

1 Loss - 7 teams
2 Losses - 9 teams

Other notable games for next Saturday:

UCLA(7-0) @ Minnesote (5-3)

BYU (7-1) @ Utah (8-0)

Miami (8-0) @ Notre Dame (7-1)

Oregon (5-3) @ Ohio State (6-2)

I still use the BCS rankings on X as a reference. They unfortunately usually map pretty well to the polls tho

Only after 1st half. Moo st. Sucks bad especially without k. Taylor. Their defense is good. Offense, not great.

So the narrative when Texas beats Moo State less bad than LSU did. Is "texas looks solid".

But when LSU beats them worse. Its "moo state sucks"
