This is the thing. Saudi can drive the price to as low as they want. That threat is how they maintain (mostly) production quotas and prices.
If everyone starts producing, Saudis will make that unprofitable quick. But will only last long enough to get everyone back in line.
Saudi’s are going to have to live with a price low enough to keep the shale assets generally unattractive. WAG is $50-60 in the near future.

The NO legislative caucus saved roche over that commie lady with more seniority on the bench when they were eliminating judges.
Wonder if he improperly repaid any debts during this. Clearing the courtroom and ordering a reporter to be cuffed and removed seem a little out of the ordinary.

They shouldn’t expect that guy who has to approve the use of the state bond funds to be signing any checks anytime soon.

And, in the 80s and 90s when Greg was number one in the world he was getting offers of $500k appearance fees for outside events . PGA wouldn’t let him make that money.
Half a million dollars was good money in the 80s. He’s got a legitimate beef with the PGA.

Do you live near any public access racetracks? If so, buy something dedicated for that and keep all that off the public roads. Now if you live in the mountains or something, then maybe okay.

The complaint I heard in my company was that the people in supply chain were never considered for “the big jobs” or anything outside of contracting and procurement.
Supply chain seems to be in demand with good compensation but if that complaint is broadly true, sort of a limit on future opportunities.

His is one side of the story. The resource is declining and rich people are using politics to keep the remaining resources for themselves. I had sort of heard it before and believe it has a good deal of validity.
I see his point as someone as someone born into the commercial fishing industry. The times did not change in his favor.
I just wish we could get back to the days of abundance so everyone could take part in the bounty.

Nobody cares about you enough to risk their life to slow you down.
The problem is the excessive speed results in cars showing up in driver’s awareness unexpectedly. Jeep had no reason to expect the BMW to be going that fast.
It’s everybody’s responsibility to maintain control to not run into shite. BMW chucked that out the window because he wanted to fast.

More capable cameras are on the way.
If data brokers can track the devices you take with you, they know where you live, where you go, and what you do. And the stakes are only poised to climb higher, now that surveillance companies that sell automatic license plate readers (ALPRs) are getting in on the game. Defense contractor Leonardo is promoting a new technology called SignalTrace that will package plate cameras with sensors that can scrape unique identifiers tied to your smart devices and make that data available to law enforcement.

Toyota V6 recall update
Posted by FOBW on 6/17/26 at 10:04 am
Toyota has a massive project on its hands with twin-turbo V6 repairs. More than 270,000 vehicles with the V35A-FTS engine have been recalled to date, with the only thorough remedy thus far being complete engine replacements. That remains the case for some Toyota Tundra pickups as well as Lexus LX SUVs, but now, the manufacturer will require many to undergo dealer evaluation with new inspection software to determine if their engines are actually defective.

Elon should be able to give his money to whoever he wants. But I think it should be dispersed over time. Generations.
A trillion dollar + entity that buys and sells influence forever is not a good thing.

I do not agree that no one will ever try to accumulate wealth in the future if elons fortune is split up after his death.
I also doubt elons primary motivation is preserving his wealth intact after he’s dead.
If Elons fortune is distributed amongst his children, that is like a hundred chances right there to produce another Elon.
Let Elon be Elon, let’s set up the system to make as many Elons as possible. Let’s set up the system to disperse concentrated wealth over time.

Good for Elon. We need more elons. I have no problem with Elon making as much as he can, he seems to be quite skilled at deploying capital.
I am not a fan of concentrated wealth and the legal schemes that allow large fortunes to continue for generations. The whole point of our forced heirship laws was to reduce the concentration of power in fewer and fewer people.
But I would bet that Elon already has the inter generational and charitable trusts set up to preserve the power of his fortune for a thousand years. I wish he would just straight split it up between his 500 children.

Didn’t realize it was previously reported. Now I want to know how many were in his party. Looks like at least four. So as you say, not terrible.
Surveillance video of the incident was obtained by police, as well as a receipt from Smith's visit with a total of $346.21, which included food and bar tab.
This bar tab included five glasses of Walking Fool wine, four Happy Hour Vodka Martinis, seven Titos Vodkas, one Tanqueray, and one Ketel One Vodka.
