Thinking about bringing the fam to Blue Bayou. Has anyone been this summer? Honest question. Is it a ghetto fest?

I went. Not great not terrible. Fun was had but I guess I would sum it up as Ruth's Chris prices for a Ryan's steakhouse experience.

$60 for a season pass is Ruth Chris prices?

I haven't been personally but my son(12yo) has a season pass and has been a few times with friends. He enjoyed himself. That's all I got.

The things that make an adult miserable don’t matter to kids at a waterpark

Just stay in the deep end. They can't "get at you there".

Cleaner but still too many slides closed which crowds the open ones.

Not relevant but I remember going and my brother stepped on an earring in the pool. Pretty much tracks for the old park lol

I drop off one of my kids to work there several times a week. From what I see of the line going in, it's 95% families and about 85% "non-ghetto".

That's if your definition of "ghetto" is based on trashy level.
If it's based on skin color, I'd say 75%."non-ghetto"

It'd really a decent crowd who's attending.

It blows my mind that people completely dismiss the massive statistically verified levels of human urine that they are swimming in and having splashed around their mouths, open cuts, noses, ears, etc….

My son was just there, they do a break day with his wrestling team every summer at BB. He said it was clean and fun, but it did start to get a littler darker after 1.

Went every Thursday, in the summer, when I was 16, 1995. Loved the diving boards, which they did away with. The "lifegaurds" were about 14-17 yo. It wasn't a cesspool of NBR at that time. That's all I have.
