You’ll get over it when there are two scratches. If not, get it refinished at a reputable shop.

I do some handyman work... Try this...
Take some sandpaper, with about 60 of those grit thingys, WET it with buttermilk, in a anti-clockwise direction, gently rub it.

Report back.

Take care .

The first real nick on any watch is always a painful experience. Bonus pain if it's your dumbass fault because you slipped during a strap/bracelet change

Scratched my GMT the other day while fishing. Doesn’t matter. It’s a tool and is expected.

I scratched the shite out of the polished edge of my Black Bay 58. I don't plan on selling it so I don't care. They're meant to be worn

I dropped my Omega Planet Ocean chronograph on the tile floor a few years ago. It hasn't worked right since. I had a local watchmaker repair it, but it didn't last. Need to send it off to Omega or a specialist.

I bought a day date in 1986 in a little jewelry store in Stuttgart Germany. A week to the day I snagged it on my wall locker and put a good scratch on the side. I took it back and the watch maker at the store polished it out for me. I mailed it home shortly afterwards.

As I was walking down the street, one day
A man came up to me and asked me
What the time was that was on my watch, oh
And I said
Yeah, I said
Does anybody really know what time it is? (I don't care)
Does anybody really care? (About time)
You know, I can't imagine why

Rub some dirt on it and you won’t even notice it.

There’s no other way to say this.

But there is no one, no one that has the same scratch on that same model. Anywhere.

Embrace it.
