Looking at Spring Break 27’. Myself, the Missus and our 14yo son.

Feel free to talk me into it or out of it…

Seasoned travelers. The kid has been to nearly 20 countries across five continents. Mostly developed countries; but, we’ve experienced sub-Saharan Africa.

Some decent flight deals into Delhi right now. Thinking a 7 day Golden Triangle trip hitting New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur?

Dry season, moderate daily temperatures and seems like an adventure…

I'll try to tone down my initial response. The best I can do is

You can visit the 'stans, the Balkans, Mongolia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, and India is where you end up? I'd spend more time looking for deals on FlyerTalk that aren't in India.

I know a very well seasoned traveller who has been to some crazy places in China, middle east, south Asia? Etc. He had two work trips to India and said never again. He said it was absolutely disgusting once you left the hotel.

I go to London for my Indian food fix.

We did it as a family with 3 teenagers. It was cool, but the poverty and mass of humanity were overwhelming. Coupled it with a beach trip to Sri Lanka afterward, like a true Westerner. We used a tour guide who booked everything, nice, safe hotels.
