Prefab Guest/Pool House

Posted by LSUOFFSHORE on 12/3/25 at 9:07 am
Looking at adding a guest house for the mother-in-law on our property on the North Shore. It will eventually become a pool house. I was starting the search with prefab or modular 1-bed/1-bath, but the Google machine is not helping. Does anyone here have any insight?
I had to move my antenna outside and adjust the direction to get it. It was the weakest signal.
Just social media bs. What’s crazy is the markup in the US. That stuff is everywhere in the Middle East for a tenth of the price.

I flew into Sarajevo then used Daytrip.com to make a huge loop to hit Belgrade, Timisoara, Sofia, Skopje, Prizren, Shkoder, & Dubrovnik. It was pretty seamless and allowed for “tour” stops along the way.
Malaga is beautiful. We also took a day trip to Gibraltar. The ferry to Tangier was cool and then we took the train to Casablanca. A day in Casablanca is more than enough. Merrikhsh is much more enjoyable .

From Singapore we took a day trip to KL and another day trip to Batam Indonesia.

Thailand - Bangkok then Phuket or Koh Samui would be cool.

Depending on your flight direction and connection I would consider a Maldives stopover.
IMO stay on the boat and enjoy the empty ship. Nassau is pretty unimpressive.
Maho Beach and the airport is still one of the coolest experiences I have had.
About half way through it. The section on Rapamycin was very interesting along with the heart disease section.

The issue with the VPN was WiFi. All of the WiFi we connected to did not allow a vpn. We used one consistently while on cell data. Most everything non china was slow. And obviously any of the alphabet software is basically bricked. I went in expecting to have the gov see everything.

Download and set up Alipay and Didi and you should be good to go. I them up to a USA CC them at did not have international fees. Both are very convenient systems.
I have been using Bitsgap for a few months.

Day trip to Andora. Pretty cool micro country. Trip Advisor
Just a few thoughts. We did a similar trip a few years ago.

- Copenhagen is one of my favorite cities of the world.
- we trained from Copenhagen to Oslo and I wouldn’t do that again because of the boarder. Instead I would take the overnight ferry.
- the train from Oslo to Stockholm was cool scenery.
- we took the Viking overnight “cruise” from Stockholm to Helsinki. Highly recommend.
- Helsinki was ok but I would agree to add Tallin. Estonia is cool and a lot of history.

We use this lot all the time with spot hero. Easy in and out.
Agreed. We did an extended weekend in Singapore and took a day trip to KL(the Petronas Towers are impressive), the next day we took a short ferry to Batam Indonesia. Singapore is by far the safest cleanest place I have ever been. Not knocking Thai, just depends what you want.
That first class lounge is the nicest I have ever been in. Food & drink selection is top. It also doubles as a museum.

The Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald area is the best part of the country. If you only have 4 days, spend them there.

This… Grindelwald is heaven on earth. We did a day trip to the Lindt Chocolate factory which was a cool excursion.
