Disney in early January (Marathon weekend)
Disney again in April (Anniversary @ Victoria and Alberts)
Waco for a Triathlon next fall

No big trips to the northeast or west. Hope to do something bigger in 2019. Alaskan cruise or maybe back to Europe.

Pagosa Springs/Wolf Creek Pass/Durango/Great Sand Dunes in a week.

After job deployments I’ll take trips to Moab/capital reef, Glacier, gunisson/CB. those will just be spur of the moment week-2week trips for the most part.

The only definite (by definite I mean booked) trip I have right now is the Tetons / Y'stone in July.

As far as what I want to do in 2018, I would like to go to the UAE in March; take a train trip through Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic in May; Tetons / Y'stone in July (booked); Egypt in November; and China in December.

I have an expense coming up soon (and I'm not sure exactly how much it will cost) and also have a possible raise / bonus on the horizon. How all that shakes out for me financially and what kind of deals I can find to some of these places will determine whether or not I can do it all. But the above is the best case scenario as far as 2018 trips.

If my financial news isn't what I hope, then I probably will axe the European train trip and go to Egypt in March, the UAE in May, Tetons / Y'stone in July, skip a November trip, and maybe still do China in December. Barring something totally out of left field I think Egypt, UAE and Tetons / Y'stone will be my worst case scenario for 2018. Shouldn't be any reason why I can't at least do those three places.

So we'll see.

Leaving on the 29th, but, technically, I'll be in Vermont after the new year.

Other than that, I'm heading to Jamaica in January, New York in February or March, Punta Cana in May for a wedding, Toronto in August for a wedding, New York for Thanksgiving and Christmas, California a few times for work, and potentially, Singapore / Sri Lanka for a wedding.

ETA: I'm typically in Minneapolis a two or three times each year. I'll go once during the summer then probably spring and fall.

I'm not really sure where I'll travel to in 2018. I do know that I want to go to the Caribbean and, sometime during the spring, somewhere the Alabama/Northern Florida Gulf Coast.

2017 was the best travel year of my life.

I hope to just see ONE of the following in 2018:

1. Glacier NP
2. Mt. Rainier NP
3. Acadia NP

Trip would likely consist of a three day backpack in any of these locations.
