The thread on Newark got me thinking. What do you think the most underrated airport is - keeping it to the US.
I have to say, I recently flew through Minneapolis and it was extremely nice. So that gets my vote.

I always liked Memphis. Charlotte and Denver are nice as well. Judging this by cleanliness, ease of movement, size/crowds, F&B options, and getting to and from. I hate ATL, Miami, Tampa, and Chicago.

frick Charlotte.
Any time I connect there I have to go from one corner to the other to connect.

Phoenix is one of the better larger airports in the US.
TSA is efficient, never any bad weather, no long taxi times, never crowded, friendly employees.

Portland, Or is nice and they have price controls on the vendors/restaurants so they can't charge more for stuff than they charge at their other locations in the city.

Detroit is nice for a major airport.

Denver & Charlotte are the only 2 airports I've been stuck in for 7+ hours. Very glad it was those instead of some crappy ones elsewhere.

Kansas City is the best if it’s your home airport. Absolute worst if it’s not.

Kansas City is, bar none, the worst airport I’ve ever been through. The only way I can describe it is if the book 1984 was an airport. All concrete, drab, poor lighting. Just awful.
But I do understand the convenience for those who live there.

Detroit is a super nice airport

Agreed, I like DTW. Right now only problem would be the tram isn't running so if you have A1 to A61 it's a hike.
Buffalo has a nice airport for its size, super easy to get in/out. Good de-icing in winter too

Detroit is the only major Airport I’ve been in and thought “this is way better than I expected.”
