Who has to deal with this shite show on a regular basis? This is my first time here in several years and not starting out great. Land on the far runway and after 15 minutes of taxiing find out our gate is occupied. Headed to the new gate but the taxiways are too small that multiple planes can't go in and out at the same time. Need to wait for previous planes to clear the alleys.

Can't wait to see inside the terminal with every gate full and how many people are here. Oh and my next flight is delayed an hour because of AA operations. Happy Thursday!

Expect a mile walk to your connecting flight. I don't like CLT at all.

It's easily the worst airport in the US at the moment.

It’s terrible however, there’s lot of construction that will be adding people movers

This is the one thing that is a non factor tonight- B4 to B6

But the chic fil a line had at least 40 people waiting on food, terminal B was jam packed with people everywhere. Anyone know of a quiet place? Maybe terminal A?

Try to avoid it if possible but it is impossible sometimes.

It can’t be any worse than Austin Bergstrom International Airport

My only time flying through there, I met and spoke with Coach Williams Wade. Great guy.

I've flown through there to/from Europe several times and what I recall is the mass of people in the concourse. You have to weave in and out of people to get to your gate. Never seen an airport where it was so tight. Like a herd of cattle.

I've always been tempted to try the lowest rated restaurants in every airport I go through.

CLT has a restaurant called Wow Bao. It is rated 1.9 stars on Google on 188 reviews. I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant rated that low before on Google.

There's a Wow Bao at IAD. It is not good at all and the bao buns are almost slimy and gross, but 1.9 stars is norovirus bad. I'm not sure it hits that level.

Used to love that place as a USAir hub, but American just sends too many people through there, B and C are tight and crowded, D is alright, but the eagle's nest (Terminal E) is like a FEMA camp. And you're absolutely right about the taxi times, especially when you land on that runway that seems like it's in South Carolina.

Landed on that runway once on SWA and the pilot got on the intercom and said something to the effect ‘we landed in South Carolina and are driving the rest the way’

I had to walk from the farthest A gate to the farthest E gate last week with a 35 minute connection. Luckily for them I got upgraded for the flight. Three Jack and cokes 45 minutes later and I was at IAD and happier.

Went once and the only thing I remember is never seeing that many people running in an airport.

AA sucks
CLT sucks

Why bother. I avoid that dual dumpster fire if possible.

Not a fan of CLT at all. Haven't flown there in years, but I know they had added/redid on of the terminals right as I quit.

When I originally started flying in there on SW, they only had 1 gate and it was a guarantee that you were going to taxi for 15 then sit for another 30 waiting for the gate to open up.

Believe by the time I stopped they had 2-3 gates, but I had switched over to United at that point and like I said, that new terminal they were out of was nice, just a long walk.
