Unless you’re sandwiched between two OT 9.5s, no one likes the middle. So what’s your preference?

Same here, but the aisles are so small. People constantly moving back and forth.

Aisle all day.

The arm rest has a spring underneath that lifts it up and I can sprawl out like the ballers in first class.

Window. I like to look out as long as I don't feel like the light will be bothering anyone.

Same here. Love looking at the countryside along the way. Try to pick out landmarks or interesting places.

Window seat for domestic flights
Isle seats for long international flights

Nothing worse than having to piss from drinking too much on long international flights and have to crawl all the way out while everyone is sleeping

Aisle. Irrational fear of flying/heights can rear it's ugly head so I'd rather be center. However I always find myself looking out the window on the descent.

On the flip side, if you’re in the aisle seat everyone is going to bother you when they need to use the lavatory.

Depends on whether I actually have something to look at out the window.

I'm 6'5" & I'll pick the window seat over the aisle seat every time if given a choice.

I used to love window seats and still do when I sit in first class. When in coach, I now prefer an aisle seat.

Window for short flights or if I'm landing somewhere with really cool terrain. Aisle for long flights, because I like to get up and stretch my legs a lot.

I've always wondered if a new airline could thrive with an entire "middle class" arrangement - no first or coach, just a 2 x 2 or 2 x 2 x 2 seating configuration with extra chair width and legroom for the entire cabin (and better flight attendants). Basically something in between first and coach for the entire cabin. Right now your only choices are pay out the arse for a handful of luxury seats up front or be crammed with farm animals in the back. I bet many people, especially cost conscious business travelers, would pay 1.5 times the average fare for a better experience, better customer service and a higher class of fellow travelers.
