Gotta watch for the drink cart, they will flat out run over your foot with the quickness.

Understandable. I have trouble sleeping on flights but easier by the window bc I can rest my head on the side wall. So long international flights, I always get the window in hopes of getting some rest

Prefer window but some of the smaller regional planes an aisle might be better, CRJ-200 for example is one such case. That said every seat on the CRJ-200 pretty much sucks.

I've always wondered if a new airline could thrive with an entire "middle class" arrangement - no first or coach, just a 2 x 2 or 2 x 2 x 2 seating configuration with extra chair width and legroom for the entire cabin (and better flight attendants). Basically something in between first and coach for the entire cabin.
Delta has Premium Select for international flights that's in between Economy and Business, and there are other airlines where this is available (Cathay Pacific gets good ratings for theirs). I'm going to give it a try from Atlanta to Buenos Aires in November. It has one less seat per row so more elbow room, and more of a recline and leg room (though not flat). It was about 50% more than economy but less than half of business.
And to the topic - window - I like seeing the world go by.

Same. I'll have to get up and pee twice on the Nola-to-Dallas hop.

Aisle. As others have said, I'm tall with long legs, so I like to stick my leg out into the aisle during the flight. And I like to stand immediately upon landing. It makes me claustrophobic to remain sitting when everyone else is standing up waiting to deplane.

def. aisle on international flights. partly because i am passive aggressive, and foreigners in the back of the plane like to rush up before it's their turn, and I will block their arse.

Window seat for me. Looking at the landscape just amazes me. Only downfall is longer flights when everyone closes theirs because the light. I feel like I have to close mine and I get bored quick

I prefer a window, even though I'm 6'4" and generally more comfortable on the aisle. I can't stand not being able to see out the window, even though there usually really isn't much to look at once you're at cruising altitude.

I prefer window, so that I can put a pillow or something between my head and the window and sleep leaning against it.

Window on long flights or super early flights so I can lean my head over and sleep.
Aisle on all other flights so I don't have to crawl over people and don't feel so trapped by the masses.

I like to look out the window but I'll always be aisle. As others have said I pee too much, but also my wife likes the window to sleep. I'll remain aisle as now we sandwich our kid between us.
For international I've been using points so I've escaped cattle class for over 5 years now. I know the day is coming I will make my return and hate every fricking minute of it

Screw them. It's your window, do what you want.

Ditto. You got the window seat, you control the window. Period.

I look for other airplanes. The closing speed amazes me.

Always aisle and preferably in at least Economy Plus seating for the extra legroom. I think I've only flown regular economy once in the past 10 years and it was because I screwed up and missed my scheduled flight. That one sucked. I was scheduled non-stop in first class and ended up with three legs all in regular economy to get home. This was pre-COVID.

Yep. Saw the ISS once too.
On a nice day you can see a lot of nice scenery, and a nice birds eye view. Particularly out West.
The flight from JNU to ANC is like flightseeing. Its incredible.
